I belong to an organisation called The Red Hat Society which is for women/ladies of a certain age (over 50) to "wear purple with a red hat that doesn't suit me and doesn't go..." And have fun. Actually, most of the red hats worn by my friends do suit them and a gaggle of us walking around an art gallery is a sight for sore eyes!
