Beginning again

This little juvenile greenfinch was making a lot of noise in the sunflowers today, wanting to be fed. The adults were taking no notice and so it got into a lot of wing vibrating and more cheeping.

Which did no good at all!!

They must think it's time it made its own way in the world.

I felt like getting a away from the quake to something good!!

Lovely day here and very hard when I think that only a few blocks away they are still looking for the missing people in the rubble of our city.

Today we had a countrywide two minutes of silence at 12:51pm to honour the people who lost their lives or are still missing but not yet confirmed dead.

Someone sang, unaccompanied our National Anthem which was very moving.

Tragic times.
