Ugh!

-20 all week - and this morning was a sprightly -36 with wind chill - and to counteract the thawing action I photographed yesterday - it snowed all day.

Somewhere under all the snow is a lawn trying to get out. There is a theory here that the snow insulates plants from the worst of the cold.... not something I would like to experiment with. All I know is that 0-30 synthetic motor oil is pretty solid (best if you don't see it....)

enough whinging about the weather - but it is a bit consuming at the moment.....
