Founder's Day

Lord Baden-Powell and his wife shared the same birthday, 22 February. As a result this is known as Founder's Day in the Scout Movement and Thinking Day in the Girl Guides.

The Founder's Day church service was held today in the Old High Church in Inverness with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, as well as Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, from all across the Inverness area.

Anna and Charlie went along in their Cub and Beaver uniforms and I managed to get them to stand still long enough for a photo!
