Les éoliennes

Wind turbines are coming to our part of the countryside. Predictably, there is a lot of local opposition to them. I rather like these graceful behemoths - they're a heck of a lot prettier to look at than nuclear reactors or coal plants.

The sun was still high in the sky at 5 in the afternoon when I took this picture. These days it stays light until about 6:30 in the evening unless it's raining, which it usually is. Thank goodness February's gone.
