It makes the world go round

Unfortunately, this is true to a certain extent. However, I prefer something I heard recently from the Afghani Cricket Coach Taj Malik today, whilst watching a documentary on their qualification for the World T20 last year.

"There are a lot of problems in the world today you know, everywhere there is fighting, complaints. The solution to it all...... cricket."

Usually on 1st March, most years, I have a blast of Jimmy Cliff's "I Can See Clearly Now" in my ears. Lifts the spirits and reminds you that the worst of winter is over and you have one foot in spring. Today certainly felt like that, it was glorious.
