A Fowl Day

March came in like a lion, cold, overcast and a strong north easterly wind.

I went to take some pictures of the lambs that were put out in the parkland in front of the mansion house yesterday, but their mum's were very wary, they were sheltering in a fold of the hillside behind some scrub, the light was awful and I didn't want to disturb them.

Fortunately (for me) the dog chased the guinea fowl and they took to the trees, with much shouting and cackling. I know I've blipped them before, but I liked the way the shape of the bird matches the shape of the branch.

Lets hope March goes out like a lamb.

P.S. This is straight off the camera, as all my blips are, and it was only mid afternoon!
