Scaffolding plank
At the end of last summer I sdecided to strip the windows of their flaky brown paint in favour of cream paint. The 'temporary' scaffolding plank Dazzler put there to help me reach the top of the window is still there.
When the sun shines you will often find us perched there, watching the kids play, chatting to neighbours, having a g and t in the evening sun. I like our street.
Lunch with the very pregnant Katy today - 2 weeks to go.... I introduced her to Ashton Garden Centre, a lovely little spot with a great cafe where everyting is home made. It's popular with grannies and pregnant ladies it appears - clearly the genteel life appeals.
Hair cuts for the boys, an attempt to open a bank account for Callum but it appears you can do nothing without an appointment these days.
More painting is beckoning.
