Primula

Our spring has arrived! The daffodil which half opened yesterday decided that today was the first day of spring 2011 and opened its face to the world. Grape hyacinths which have just poked their heads up above ground have started turning blue and the sun shone all day long. The weather forecast is for sunny days for the next week, which should change the complexion of everything. The nights are cold and we had frost again last night. Within an hour of sunrise though, the frost was gone to be replaced by what you see on this primula. Hundreds of tiny beads of dewy droplets.
