Solitude

At this time of year, early in the morning, the lakeside is still a calm, quiet place to be. Only a duck shared a little time with me. It's great to find every layby empty and the road quiet enough to allow a slow drive looking for the place to stop.

The mountains in the background are these ones taken from high up on the left last week.

The day thereafter wasn't spent in solitude, but with productive business meetings and nice customers.

The evening had the most fabulous sunset I nearly saw! Just too late finishing work to see it's true beauty, but I could tell by the remaining colour that it had been fabulous.

Happy St.David's Day, everyone, the daffodils were on the bank behind me, almost ready to open.
