view from a plane...

...is what greeted me this morning. a colorado sunrise...

who would've thought? as the plane shook and shimmied through the air, i grabbed for my camera - thinking it probably wouldn't make much of a shot... trying to balance... looking through a tiny and very dirty airplane window. i figured i'd get nothing but blur... surprise.

this has almost no modifications... no processing other than a bit of cropping - otherwise, it's straight from my little digital camera...

my very first sunrise. not a bad way to begin the day - and start my trip to chicago... bodes well, i'm sure of it...yay! now if everything else falls into place so well with mom and all, we'll be set...
