Today we woke up after a very cold night, we kept warm and had a great sleep inside our sleeping bags with a blanket on top for good measure and one of us would wake up every few hours to put wood in the stove. After some breakfast we were ready for today's adventure. First a bit of sightseeing to a fabulous church in a nearby village and stop at this site where ice had formed in some amazing configurations and the sun was melting creating a truly amazing view. Then for the main event, a walking trip on a mountain covered with snow. Four hours of walking on the mountain, first within a snowed forrest and then a barren mountain side covered heavily with snow.

In the afternoon, cold tired and hungry, we headed for the nearby village where we found a great place (even if a bit pricey for this area) for some tsipouro, good food and a really interesting discussion with the owner. Late in the evening we headed towards our house to light the stove and sleep, completely exhausted but very happy after such a great day!
