Simple Pleasures

I often join in with a weekly blog prompt over at Sticky Fingers, and this weeks prompt was life's simple pleasures. I wrote about the hyacinth & daffodils coming into bloom on my windowsill. I also think that fresh flowers on a side table or windowsill fit the bill too.

They just cheer the soul, don't they? I particularly love tulips as they have a life of their own. They don't like to be over arranged, & always have an air of shabby chic about them.
