In like a Lion

I think March came in like a lion for a good chunk of Canada. It was no exception for us. A storm brewed while we were sleeping and we were woken up to the bus driver phoning us that school was cancelled. Of course the little darlings were so dismayed that they could hardly contain themselves - NOT! It was quite blustery out for most of the morning, not being able to see too far in the distance. Tessa made sure to get us together to play the Monopoly game we had started the day before. She ended up winning the whole thing! I bowed out early and gave away my properties so I could make supper for everyone. I didn't mind - not my favorite game to play....
