Seeing as I am

Sometimes...

...beauty is found in the unlikeliest of places.

Pretty large.

I've just uploaded this and typed everything in but it disappeared with an error message! Fingers crossed for this time.

This little anemone was in an old hanging basket in a porch, set against dirty glass. It has either braved the winter or bravely decided to flower early. Anyway, it begged to be blipped.

The building work continues apace. My head is rattling still. Fortunately most of my patients this morning were elderly and hard of hearing so it didn't bother them at all.

I also had the privilege of examining a charming 93-year-old professor of chemistry. He was one of the original team charged with setting up Keele University after the Second World War. If I'm half as sharp as he still is when I'm 93 I'll be a happy girl indeed :-)
