Lothian Buses

In theory, and on paper, edinburgh's lothian buses are fantastic. £2.50 gets you unlimited travel for a day, £37 unlimited travel for a month and there are buses 24 hours a day.
In practice however, I suspect largely due to the road system, it can be an absolute nightmare.
This morning's driver seemed to have decided that he must slam the brakes on at least once every 100yds in an attempt to throw to the floor as many of the permitted 'standees' as he could, perhaps in outrage at the inordinate amount of tram related roadworks littering the streets.
