Blue Skies

I popped into Trowbridge today to do some banking and pick up a few things from Sainsburys. On the way back to the car I noticed this lovely stone carving above an archway leading to the church (on Church Street).
I thought it was worthy of a blip, especially as it showed off the clear blue skies in the background... and it was also an opportunity to try out the D-range function on the Alpha 550, which compensates for backlit scenes and creates a higher dynamic range.
