Big kid new toy

At long last It arrived.

I could not help myself tonight I thought this would be my final blip as I haven;t been around for a while with my old Fuji Finepix. I say at long last lots of overtime and sea time to pay for the new toy.

You would think once you have chosen the camera you want it would be straight forward, go out and buy one. No not me. I thought I would try and save those few extra pennies and do the ebay thing. I bid on many and lost many in fact I did the buy it now in the end.

I was also watching 3 items at the time. I read all the ads... well thought I had, so I bought the camera thinking I was saving money doing It this way.
It wasn't until the Paypal payment had gone through that I re read the camera ad that I had bought...........dam it was the body only.
The other two ads that I was watching was the same price but with a 18-55 mm IS lens. so I thought hey I would buy the lens separately which should arrive tomorrow. All told It would have cost me the same price If I had gone down the high street to my local Jessops and bought it over the counter.
Hey we live and learn.

Well the battery is on charge instruction manual in hand.
