I found our consultants email address online so got in touch directly and 2 hours later had a reply and a date for Alfies operation!!!

Mixed feelings, pleased we have the date but terrified of the op....

The last few months have been rather tiring and stressful! Something as simple as tonsils causing so much trouble. The sleep apnea can cause permanent damage and delays, he is also so tired all the time from disturbed sleep that he can't catch up as quickly as he was on the delays already there and yet he stays sunny and happy so much of the time.

I am so proud of him for coping so well. How many adults would cope with weeks of antibiotics, constant swollen and sore throat, lack of good sleep and stay laughing and cheery.
