South Strip
A little overcast and chilly today, in fact we were caught in a hail storm at night!
This is looking northwards up the Strip. You can see the rollercoaster we rode on Tuesday.
Highlights of the day were visiting the famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign (designed by Betty Willis in the Googie style, in the 1950s) and seeing Elvis in concert. Ok, it's was Legends in Concert, a tribute show featuring Liberace, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.
None of them may have been the real deal (kinda obvious when Rod the Mod is the only one there is any chance of seeing now... and as far as I'm aware he hasn't struck such low times that he has to perform as himself in a tribute show in Vegas...) but they certainly did their subjects proud.
So much so it was difficult to remember it wasn't really Elvis when he came on stage... should have maybe contained my excitement a little more ;)
