Trees on the Surface

Back home from my trip to care for my dad, and on my winding walking way from one part of the city to another, the sun in and out from behind wind-driven clouds, I stood by this formation leftover from the 1960 Seattle World's Fair and watched the tree reflections appear, grow dim, disappear, and re-surface - ready for the moment they showed up clearly.
