Surprise!

A friend held out a paper bag to me and said it was for me. I was suspicious, so while she was still holding the bag, I peeked in. This is what I found. My brain quickly went through my options, I could scream and jump away as quickly as possible (this option was tempting), or I could pretend I thought it was cool and hold out my hand to get a closer look. I chose the second option. The centipede was found (already dead) not far from where we live.
