Dream Camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got a chance to open the box today. This box contained the camera I have been wanting for a long time! Spent a little time playing with this new, wonderful toy. Didn't have much time today, mainly attaching the neck strap, charging the battery and a few quick shots was about all I had time for today. I decided that as much as I dislike having a picture of myself, getting this dream camera was a good enough reason to take a picture of me with my new camera. So I stepped into the bathroom where the closest mirror was and snapped a pic. Upon uploading tonight I see the pic and think that I look a bit mad in the pic. Honest, I was far from mad, I was ecstatic....but that didn't come across in the pic I'm afraid. I can't WAIT until I can have more time with the new Nikon. I suspect it will be pretty much be permanently attached to my neck.

This morning Gary and the youth group left for Hume Lake. This evening was a fun night with the boys at church with a night of "Minute to Win It" games...but the part in between was my highlight as described above. :)
