Falcon

Just when I was starting to despair of ever having anything interesting to blip this month... a beautiful little falcon appeared. It was obviously tired and looking for somewhere to stop for a rest, thankfully this allowed me to get within just a few feet in order to get a shot before it decided I was too close and relocated to the mast!

Edit: having been advised that this is a falcon and not a hawk, I have changed the text accordingly... I really must get myself a bird identification book :-)
