New Telescope

I finally got the chance to take my shiny new telescope out for a spin, it might be smaller than my other scope but it is much more portable (I was able to set it up in the flat then carry it on my own out to the observatory (which has a good spot to set up the scope and block out a bit of the light pollution).

I spent the rest of the night marvelling at Saturn, it never fails to blow me away, such an amazing sight even through the smaller 5" scope. I wasn't able to get a good afocal shot so instead here is the telescope itself all set up and ready to be taken outside!

I promise I will be posting a Saturn blip as soon as I get the chance!!!
