Spring morning

It is truly spring here in Austin! The weather is beautiful. The allergies are plentiful. The trees are budding. The grass is growing. The mornings are still cool, but the afternoons are just glorious. This season is the reason we put up with the brutally hot summers here.

Up north, you layer so you can stay warm. Here, in spring, we layer so we can take clothes off as it gets warmer during the day as the temperatures swing from 45 to 75. Enjoy it, Austin! Spring is all too short! We will also probably get one more cold snap....inevitably at Easter so that we are all shivering in the rain in our Easter frocks. It happens ever year. Because no place is paradise.....not even Austin.
