sunny day at the beach

had to go to the beach today. It was a fine sunny warm day. Just a few simple shots of birds, dolphins, shells. Then this cute wee one found the joy of racing into a flock of seagulls. Every shell, pile of sand and bird was so simply exciting for him.

I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm.
