Bike Lock - NOT

Now, ...

is this a message TO the cyclist from the local resident who doesn't take kindly to 'their' street pole being used to lock up a bike

or

is it a message FROM the cyclist to everyone passing (and now viewing this Blip) that these D-locks ain't necessarily as safe as you might think!

or

is it just a coincidence that the defunct lock was lying there on the wall beside the nicely locked bike?

Oh, the mysteries and puzzles that blipping throws up!

In case you can't see the detail, the D-lock has been cleanly cut through ... not only that, but it was blipped in Edinburgh's Morningside (!) just as I came across it - no staging or special effects here, WYSIWYG!
