Garve Station
Well I'm standing at the very end of the platform and have stopped as instructed. But the sign is really intended for the train drivers. I expect the token is something to do with the line being single track. Back when I was a young lad the man in the signal box used to lean out of the cab and give a real physical baton to the driver. I expect the "token" here must be some sort of electronic permission as the station is unstaffed and there doesn't seem to be anyone around to hand over a real object. The line goes from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh and is supposed to be very scenic. On the other hand if you're on the train you probably don't get a good view of the viaduct which appears in a lot of the travel posters.
