Duras

Le Chateau a Duras, pretty magnificent and has just had a facelift grace au gouvernement which supplied a grant allowing almost the whole chateau to be re-pointed, which it was in dire need of, and it looks fantastic now! This wee doorway into the grounds caught my eye as we walked around it.

Needs hardly be said that this is well and truly within wine growing country, fairly epic wine, although am slightly biased...
