As it's World Book Day I thought I'd blip some of my favourite cookery books.

Dinner Party Book - a leaving present from the typing pool girls when I got married as I had no idea what veggies went with what meat!!
Bestway Cookery gift Book - Dated 1949 - bought from a charity shop.
Heritage of British Cookery - also from charity shop
The open book is Cooking with Elizabeth Craig dated 1950, belonged to my Aunt who gave me cookery lessons as a child.
