Buoy and bird on the Mersey

I went down to the Mersey early in the morning to get a good shot of the mist rising but it was a complete whiteout. So I had to wait until lunch break to give it another go, by which time the sun got out. Lots of people enjoyed the mellow hazy sunshine and watched the river flowing quietly towards the sea.
