How did he get up there?

At the limit of the zoom on my little camera taking this unfortunately, so this isn't a great photo.

Tried to get some bird pics in our garden today but it was too cold to sit outside and I've been sneezing and coughing all day, so would have frightened the birds off anyway! Loads of them about, mostly in the trees around the neighbours' gardens, the singing was lovely.

I saw a couple of robins, a dove and a blue tit as well as sparrows and a blackbird but they were not posing for photos today.

This photo is of a really fat pigeon sitting about 30 or 40 feet up in a silver birch tree a couple of gardens down from ours. He really made me laugh as he looked so tubby I couldn't imagine how he'd hauled himself up there. There is a much much better photo of a great big fat pigeon here taken by my friend Si.
