Star of the Day

Louis in the bath. We've been heaping praise on him so that might be why he's so happy. At school today he was Star of the Day and he got all his new words right which means he can move onto the next stage of books. The two may be linked but I hope that Star of the Day is given out equally amongst all his class. You can't have some kids in a class of 4 and 5 year olds never being Star of the Day.

We do suspect that Louis had been overlooked as Star of the Day because up until a few months ago he told us he had never had the prestigious award but that everyone else in the class had and some more than once. We asked the teacher why this was so. He has now been Star of the Day three times. Hmmmm.

I feel like I've said Star of the Day too many times!
