Coffeeshop Hop

Cold day again, and still a mite windy; but at least there's sun.

G and I checked out the new coffee shop which just opened in our neighborhood, two streets away. She very very recently discovered the Harry Potter series (which is just about right, as she was perhaps 5 when they first came out on store shelves and so she couldn't very well have started on them then). So she finished book 1 last night and has very quickly moved on to the next. While she read her Potter and took swigs of her mango soda, I read pages from the latest poetry book of Richard Jones and sipped my Mexican Mocha with cayenne pepper and dark chocolate...

The coffee shop wasn't very busy while we were there -- but there are nice comfy chairs, wi-fi, nice broad window ledges (pot of daffodils in one); and an interesting coffee menu, plus light meals (salads, sandwiches).
