Carnaval Warm-up

Coming back to Copacabana after dinner in Ipanema and taken from the taxi. Things definitely warming up for carnaval and noticeably many more tourists around tonight.  Spent today shopping for electro domestics and I felt like Goldilocks in the three bears story.....things were too big, too small, too wide, too expensive.  By the end of the day though, progress was made. I also got a call to say our sofa was going to be delivered tomorrow!! Meant to be 12 March! Had to remind them of that, as we have a big pile of cement where the sofa's due to go right now! Very good to know it's ready though!
