Evening Light

I took a quiet stroll this evening down by the river.
The sun was setting, the air was cool and the river was calm.
All I could hear was a little bit of traffic, laughter from other walkers enjoying their evening stroll and seagulls settling in for the night.
In the west as the sun was setting the sky had a soft golden glow but to the east the sky was pink with very soft grey clouds.

I had something else in mind for my blip today, but with the hot nor west wind howling around, I didn't quite get there. The air was filled with grit and pollen and my eyes are so sore while my nose is streaming - allergies, not much fun.
