Catkins

Blipping earlier today as have to get my daughter to Stirling for her performance again tonight.

Had various ideas for today but when walking the dog I came upon these catkins. The sun even came out for about five minutes while I was taking the photos. Quite pleased with the result considering I was holding the dogs lead in one hand and the camera in the other.

Don't they look like strings of popcorn?
