Lichen (again)

't Was a wonderful day in Groningen. Bit cold stil, but the sun was shining and we just had to go out for a walk at the Freedom Forrest. You could really see nature enjoying the sun. At one point Rein stopped me and shhhhhhhted. He pointed and there were five deer, one male and four female, lying in the grass in front of the trees. Like they were sunbathing :-). I was never so sorry to have brought the Konica and not the Panasonic with more zoom. When they saw us watching them, they moved, but didn't run of. I never saw them so close to the city before.
We also saw a White Heron, very rare in Holland so it must be the same one I saw last year about a km away from were we were walking today.

Spending the whole weekend at Rein's, the boy's are looked after. No plannes, but maybe we'll just take toothbrushes and the car and drive, probably ending up somewhere in Belgium........ :-)). Long time since we did that!
