Goodbye

Chris` Mum passed away last month, funeral today.
I didn`t know my mother-in-law for very long despite Chris and I being together for 15 years, she was out of his life for 42 of his 49 years. He saw her very sporadically over the past 13 years but more frequently the last 8 weeks when she became bedridden through illness and came to live with her daughter [his sister]
It`s sad when families break up and become disjointed, he has a brother he`s not seen for 40 years and his other sister wants nothing to do with any of them.
He has a daughter from a previous marriage but hasn`t had contact with her for 10 years..though not for want of trying.....it`s very complicated is life.
Cherish your families people there comes a time when they are no longer here and memories are precious
