Another glorious day, Mr B and I spent it in the garden, cutting back and tidying up and even giving the lawn the first cut of the year.

An early evening pub meal (plus wine!) with my sister and her husband was the perfect way to finish the day.

The picture is of our Forsythia bush, one of the first bursts of colour in the garden.
