Daydreaming down by the harbour....

I will own one of these bad boys one day. Indulged my boat obsession today by passing a little time at the Oude haven in Vlaardingen. Had a nice stroll past the old part of town to the industrial terrain of the Wilhelminahaven, along the Nieuwe Maas river to the Delta hotel and back again.

A few other folk had the same idea, making the most of the sunshine. Found myself a spare bench, had a perch for a while, listened to the water lapping against the rocks, giant waves created by the many tankers, etc passing by. A nice spot to sit and get away from it all.
