Rising from the deep

This is Worms Head, a tidal island at one end of Rhossili bay on the Gower peninsula.

The shot was taken from Burry Holms a similar tidal island at the far end of the bay, once home to a small monestry which was continaully sacked by Vikings until the monks moved to the small hamlet of Llangennith (see tomorrows blip).
