Salty
Oxwich Bay.
Covered with the evidence of razor clams; wiggly sand next to little divots.
Poured loads of salt on many a hole: no clams.
Spoke to a local fellow seen walking up the beach with a bucket full of clams and a fork (wish I had blipped him really). His wise words after I asked if the salt approach was a load of rubbish or not:
Get right down to the tide line, preferably next week after the spring tide.
Mark out a 15 metre square area.
Stamp on the ground.
Salt all the holes that appear.
Come back 15 mins later and the clams will all be lying on the surface...............
Alternatively get a fork and dig em up!!!!
