You Don't Know What You've Got Till Its Gone

I'm a great believer in taking a photo of a subject as soon as you see it. In the case of this ruin in the field next to us I wish I had. Seen daily for over 20 years I always thought well when we get to the time of the year when the sun is at that angle I will get that view I want. It will always be there says I but over the past week it is slowly disappearing - being taken for building dry stane dykes I suspect. The starlings are not too happy as it was a great nesting area for them and we have had fulmars in the past as well.

My Blip of December 9th cannot be repeated.
