Pleasant Surprise!

Yesterday night: The telephone rang. My colleague on the other side said 'Congratulations'. I involuntarily replied 'Thanks' and asked him the reason! He said that my name figured in the promotion list and that my designation has changed from AGM to DGM.

A pleasant surprise indeed!

A thorough analysis at various levels, discussions in various forums took place through out the day by the well wishers who finally attributed it 50% to the attitude part and 50% to luck!
