Very heavy work

I'm made huge progress with the terrace/seating area outside today.

4 huge stone flags were set ontop of my low wall to form a seat/step and base for second layer of wall and step.

The flags I used were taken up from the area i've ripped up and are real beauties, the biggest being 110cm long, 70cm wide and 7cm deep. I calculated it's aproximate weight and it was INXS of 120kg, almost twice my weight! Working out how to move them and get them into place, level and in line, and then actually doing it was a mental and very physical challenge.

It feels good to get them in place.
