back to snow

running the gamut with weather here in the chicago area... sheesh... we've had sun, gray and overcast skies, rain and now snow today... yuk! although it is pretty, soft and falling gently through the air... it's made for a pretty picture but mom has proclaimed she's sick of it and ready for sun and spring time now.

i can't say i blame her... after having a tease of spring with the plant peaking through ice the other day, it's difficult seeing white stuff falling. at least it's not freezing out and this should be short-lived.

have finished around-the-house chores, laundry and will settle in for a homemade chicken potpie at dinner time... yum. fun to cook for someone...
