Trapped
Bother. I looked in my undersink cupboard this morning and found droppings and evidence of wee. Bother, bother, bother. My little plan of moving the bin didn't work. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a humane trap which is now installed in said cupboard with a peanut and a bit of after eight mint (catering for both the sweet and savoury toothed mouse).
I don't know which will be worse. Waking up and not finding a mouse in the trap and having to set it again tomorrow night, or waking up and finding a mouse which I will then have to drive at least 2 miles away (at least, that is what the lad in the hardware shop recommended) to set it free. I hope I sleep well...
Apart from that, I had a good day today. I managed to buy some canvas box frames to mount my pieces of work for the exhibition (£1 each - you can't beat that for value), had left over homemade pizza from last night for lunch, a lovely baked cod with peppers, onions and olives for tea, and now I'm watching Brideshead Revisited while drinking wine and finishing off my embroidered pieces. I've then just got to think what to call them - always a tricky job. 'Untitled' is just not good enough, in my view.
