Brick Making...

So...another trip out to the brickworks this morning. This time I decided to go and talk with some of the Nepali villagers who make the bricks, before they are fired in the kiln.

It was brutally hot today, but work continues.

Here's the clay being prepared before it is put by hand into brick moulds like the one shown here. The bricks behind are more or less ready to be fired...

...and just because I like the shot, this is the niece of the boy in the photo...

...oh...and I'm looking to link up with an organisation which works for the benefit of children employed in these circumstances so that they can maybe use some of these images.
